Good news!

I had an appointment at 11:30 am at Kaiser in Union City. I got there around 11:20 am and waited a few minutes in the car then I headed to my doctor's office. I checked in and almost immediately a nurse called my name. She took my blood pressure and temperature. Right after, I was sent to a patient's room and the doctor came in a few minutes later. She told me my xray results were negative to not worry and to make sure I don't ever have a tuberculosis outbreak she would prescribe some antibiotics. I really liked my primary physician she is really friendly and easy to talk to. So far, my experience at Kaiser with my practitioner has been really good. Every time I email her with a questions she responds on the same day or the next. Since I will be taking the TB treatment for 9 months, she ordered a blood test to make sure I don't have any liver problems because a side effect of the medication can be certain damage to the liver.

After I obtained my results from the xray, I proceeded to the laboratory. It only took about 20 minutes waiting and getting my blood taken. During my visit my sister had texted me to ask if I could pick her up from school so I told her I would. But first, I went to the San Leandro district office to dropped off my xrays results. The day before I had received a call from them telling me that my fingerprints were clear. Now I just have to wait from the school to see when I can start volunteering and as soon as I get the official score from the CBEST I want to apply for substitute teaching. Did I mentioned that I passed the test? Well, I did! I'm super excited because this is another stage in my life that I'm looking forward to. Hopefully in the middle of 2011 I will have be looking for a full time job as a teacher.

When I picked up Alejandra, she asked if I was hungry and so we went to eat Chinese food. We ordered some Mongolian beef, egg plant, and some vegetable fried rice. Everything was so delicious! I was also glad that we had left over because that meant that I did not have to cook (yay!). Don't get me wrong, I love cooking but a girl needs a break sometimes. Once home, I checked cafe world and farmville then I continue staining my armoire which is about 97% done. That was my day! Hope you all had a good day too.
