So, I was supposed to get up around 5 a.m. to get my day going earlier. I looked at the clock and thought to myself I need more sleep but maybe I will sleep for 1 more hour. Next thing I know, it was 8:00 a.m. which is not too bad but I seriously need to go to sleep much earlier so I will actually get up at 5:00 a.m. next time. I got up immediately changed into my gym clothes went downstairs and ate a tangerine (was not very hungry). Once at the gym, I proceeded to the elliptical machine. Then I moved along to the work out section of the gym and did the second day of the Jillian Michael's book. Most exercises were not horrible but some were a little tough. For example, I had a hard time doing the mountain climbers but I managed to run on the treadmill at an incline of 10 and speed of 5.0 m.p.h at an interval of 1 minute for three of the circuits which is not bad at all if I do say so myself.
When I got home I made some scramble eggs without the yolk and drunk a glass of milk with some Nesquik chocolate powder and took my woman multi-vitamin. After taking a shower and getting dress, I took a little snack of dried mangoes and berries fruits (Kirkland brand-Costco). I think that in order to not cheat on my new healthier eating habits I need to have something sweet so I don't crave all other bad stuff I should not eat. For lunch, I will have some Salmon that was leftover from last night and maybe some carrot juice (yummy!!!!). Not sure what I will cook for tonight but I'm sure I will come up with something. For now, I feel really accomplish in finishing the second day of my workout now 28 more days to go! I've decided that at the end of the 30 day program to challenge myself I will post pictures of me before and after I started working out with the program. This will give me more motivation to stick to the program without changing the days or stopping in between. One good thing about the program is that you get days off which is not so bad being that the work outs are a little tough. Tomorrow I get to rest so no gym for me!
My goal for this process is not only to loose the weight or extra 20 lbs but to feel physically healthy and look good... : ).
I forgot to mentioned that I switch my volunteering day to tomorrow Wednesday since Steve has meetings after school and I didn't want to come home so late. It works out very well since tomorrow is my day off from the workout anyways.
