Workout Day 11

After a day off from working out, I went to the gym with a little extra energy but a little tired. I woke up really early (5:00 a.m.) because I could not sleep. I woke up at 4:25 am and immediately started thinking of the projects (placing door back, caulking and staining my Armoir) that I have for the day. Being the light sleeper that I'm this thinking did not help me to go back to sleep so I decided to just get up to get my day started.

At the gym, instead of working out on the elliptical I did 40 minutes on the treadmill at a 5.5 mph speed. Once done, I headed to the workout section of the gym and my first exercise was the scorpion push up which is really though after a jog plus I'm horrible at push ups. I only was able to do 5 scorpion push ups and changed to a normal push up. The exercises were not too tough today but I felt a little beat since I've been busy painting and caulking my bathroom. Other than the fatigue feeling, I was able to push through all the exercises and even repeat them a second time. A positive outcome of going to the gym at 6:00 am is that I get to use all the machines I need without having to wait for some one else to use it or feel rush through my workout.

I finally finished the caulking and placing the shower door back in its place. It looks much better than it did before I started. Maybe I will post some pictures tomorrow if I have time. This week has been a very busy one for me with my projects which I don't mind since I have all day to do them. Now that I'm done, I will dedicate my day to cleaning up the mess and cleaning the house to have it ready for my cousin who is visiting us on Sunday. Okay, I need to go to sleep because tomorrow it will be another early day. Good night!
